International Employee Resource Group: Lansing River Walk Trail

Date: Thu, 03/16/2023 | Time: 12-1:30pm | Location: IN PERSON – Meeting at Beaumont Tower

Event Description

Join us in person for a scenic Spring walk through the Lansing River Trail!

In 1981 the Riverwalk received the esteemed designation as a National Recreation Trail by the United States Department of the Interior, which referred to it as “…. a unique central city trail along a Waterfront….”

The Lansing River Trail now stretches all the way from Waverly Road to Old Town! You can also catch it from Potter Park to MSU. Altogether, over 20 miles of paved trail pass through numerous parks and natural areas, as well as  Downtown Lansing.

This general tour of campus shares information about many of our most popular campus locations, however, please note that viewing academic classrooms is not advised as classes are in session year-round. Guests can find up-to-date parking information on our MSU Police website.

The International Employee Resource Group (International ERG) is a place for Spartans to connect on issues related to our international community. The goal of the ERG is to connect, build community and share best practices. It is an opportunity to discuss everyday issues, relationships with friends and family, campus and community connections, and social activities that will help to build community. The International Employee Resource Group will meet every 3rd Thursday of the month, unless otherwise noted on our calendar due to holidays or other conflicts.
