Resilient Fathers: Thriving in the Midst of a Pandemic: Overcoming the Pressures of Fatherhood

This session will highlight the challenges of fatherhood, and how to overcome them. Participants will leave with the motivation, and knowledge of how to handle and manage the complexities of fatherhood.

About the Speaker

Jonathan is a native of Lansing Michigan where he currently resides with his wife and 4 daughters. He recently served as the Fatherhood Facilitator for Ingham County’s Strong Start Healthy Start where he provided case management to fathers, fatherhood workshops, hosts community events, barbershop talks, and community collaborations. During his time as Fatherhood Facilitator, her served 147 fathers in his first year. Jonathan is passionate about fatherhood, and has done several trainings across the state of Michigan on how to effectively engage fathers. Jonathan is currently working in private practice assisting people heal, as a therapist. Jonathan’s background is in Social Work as he holds a BSW, and recently graduated with his MSW-Clinical at Michigan State University. Lastly, Jonathan does not like bios as he only wants to be known for being a guy that contributed to a positive change in someone’s life.
