The WorkLife Office's 2nd Annual Conference, "The Changing World of Work," will provide an opportunity for participants to explore the ways in which the nature of work and work environments are changing. As we witness technological advances, new trends in personnel management from recruitment to retirement, and generational divides that impact workplace cultures, it's important to understand how these changes will impact our own work. The Conference will offer in-depth learning, practical tools for implementation, and skills for continued progress toward high performance at Michigan State University.
Ellen Galinsky will be featured as the keynote speaker. Ms. Galinsky is considered one of the founders of the work-life field. She has contributed significant research and findings that have positively impacted workplaces and the ways in which people work. Ms. Galinsky is the Chief Science Officer for the Bezos Family Foundation and Senior Research Advisor to the Society for Human Resource Management. She is also the co-founder and President of the Families and Work Institute and author of Mind in the Making: The Seven Essential Life Skills Every Child Needs.
