WorkLife Office Presents: Family Employee Resource Group - Understanding Your Child's Cues
Humans communicate all of the time without ever speaking. Children are no different. Children send us cues to tell us what they need and want. In this session, parents and caregivers will learn the importance of recognizing their children’s cues, understanding what those cues might be communicating, and responding in a way that builds strong and supportive relationships.

About the Speaker: Courtney Aldrich
As part of the MSU Extension Child and Family Development team, Courtney teaches parents and caregivers about child development, learning, and strategies for caregiving practices. She provides virtual and in-person programming at schools, conferences, libraries, and training venues with community partners throughout Michigan. A former early childhood professional, Courtney earned her master’s degree in Educational Psychology from Eastern Michigan University.
