So take this opportunity to talk about bodies and boundaries to prevent sexual abuse, harassment, and assault from occurring. After this workshop, you will be able to:

  • Describe three risk factors for sexual abuse, harassment, and assault
  • Understand ways for discussing body parts, appropriate vs. inappropriate play and harassment with young kids, teens, and child care professionals

Presenter Bio: Megan Maas, PhD is an assistant professor in the Department of Human Development and Family Studies. Her research focuses on adolescent sexuality with an emphasis on preventing sexual harassment and assault. She is also a mother of two girls and blogs regularly about her research and the topic of parenting sexuality at
