Date: Tuesday, October 3, 2023 | Time: 1:00-2:00pm | Location: Virtual Zoom

Event Description

**You only need to register once to be registered for the 8 part series**

Middle managers often find themselves in the unique position of being caught between the strategic directives of senior leadership and the day-to-day realities of front-line employees. This dual responsibility subjects them to a range of stressors that few other roles experience. From navigating organizational politics, to managing diverse teams, addressing performance issues, and meeting high expectations from both ends, middle managers truly face a balancing act. As a result, providing them with the appropriate support is paramount to ensure not only their well-being but also the efficient functioning of an organization. This session will delve into the key challenges faced by middle managers and offer insights on how best to support them.

Learning Objectives

  • Equip managers to recognize common role-specific stressors.
  • Explore and discuss the most effective types of support available for middle managers.
  • Educate middle managers on their crucial role in promoting workplace wellbeing, not only for themselves but also for their team members, and provide strategies to fulfill this role effectively.
