Spartans WILL Support Breastfeeding Mothers in the Workplace: MSU first university awarded the Workplace Award

Michigan State University recently became the first university to receive a Breastfeeding Friendly Workplace Award from the Michigan Breastfeeding Network (MIBFN). MSU was awarded the MIBFN’s Silver Workplace Award for going “above and beyond the law’s requirements to provide workplace support to their breastfeeding employees.”

A celebration of this award will take place in the upper lounge of the first floor of the MSU Union (49 Abbot Road, East Lansing, MI) on Thursday, November 30, 2017 from 5:30 PM – 6:30 PM. Join the WorkLife Office for cake, fun, and pictures with the bronze Sparty statue. All are welcome.
